Microsoft Gets In On Formula 1  by James W at 08:11

From the start of the 2008 Formula 1 season Microsoft will be providing all teams with a standard ECU. An announcement was made in Paris following this weeks meeting of the FIA World Motor Sport Council.

The Inq - Microsoft has not done much in the way of ECU work and is not a big name in the racing industry. We hope it knows what it is doing. The last thing a driver wants when going around a corner at close to the speed of sound is a little window appearing to warning that the computer has to shut down and would he or she like to notify Microsoft.
