The Register has an article about an experiment done with 13 households of Internet Junkies, depriving them of internet access for 14 days and watching the somewhat bizarre results.

Participants in the human experiment were deprived of the web for 14 days, and found themselves quickly succumbing to "withdrawal and feelings of loss, frustration and disconnectedness".


I suspect it would affect me, but this much? I had no idea.

I'd be thinking about the Internet, but I could cope quite easily, I imagine. Boredom would be the main problem. But then, email isn't a big thing for me and my missus, who is far from a computer geek, would miss t'internet far more than I would.

Indeed, and watch lots of TV. It's not the end of the world. But you do realise how much you rely on it for information.

Wouldn't bother me to much if im honest, aslong as i can play some crappy sp games id be happy
