Steam updates  by Craig D at 17:13

steam Steampowered reports that steam has been updated again. Restarting your client should cause the update to happen.

This is all very nice, but just when is Half-Life2 due, getting sick of waiting now.


STEAM CLIENT CHANGES / ADDITIONS:
  • Removed Exit & Logout command
  • Improved authentication system
  • Improved UI feedback when Internet connection has been lost
  • Improved pre-loading behavior (will no longer pause)
  • Added new in-game languages: Japanese, Thai, & Russian

This update includes a "Half-Life 2 Hardware Survey". This mostly automated survey collects information about Steam users' computer hardware (and some software). We plan to use this information to tune the performance of our games.

When was it that they did the last "Half-Life 2 Hardware Survey"...was that Sept. 2003?

ooo the evil that is Steam, dont think ill even bother buying HL2 until its in the bargain bucket, my anticipation of this game is zero now
