Its on the blueyonder ftp, i downloaded it at over 700kbs which was nice, now goto wait for the creative xfi drivers to download at a crappy 70kbs.

ROFL WTF the beta drivers informed me they will time out on 22nd of sept and i will then be able to uninstall them, whats that load of shite creative u muppets.

i laughed my arse off when u became small and went into that little box and when u come out he says' man that was ****ed up' then runs into the next room and sees dead humans and guts etc spraying out all over the walls and proceeds to say ' no THAT was ****ed up'

i didnt like it much tbh, felt too console like me for, u didnt get the tactile feel you do in games like bf2. But i have never really been a massive fan of futuristic shooters. Its decent but i wouldnt say fantastic from the demo.
Just didnt blow me away.

hmm the more i play it the better it gets, but still aint going to be a classic, worth playing though. You dont feel the instant connection u did with Alyx though.

I don't know how you can compare this to BF2 really , completely different games imo. Very good, very promising and most importantly, fun. Lots of cool new ideas and tricks/effects too. And that bar opening scene is superb.

its a first person shooter it has guns, thus it can be compared to it, i wasnt saying the games are similar just that i prefer the tactile way the guns feel in battlefield 2, this is due to the fact that its a game based now and based on realism, thus we can understand how the weapons should feel and fire. Future style games dont have this. There was some nice new ideas and i really liked the portals, i just dont connect with future games the way i do games like bf2 and cs.

Half Life 2 has it's share of futuristic weapons though. Fair enough I guess you don't like futuristic games.

Aye it does but its shotgun is fantastic as is its magnum, it has futuristic guns but it has realistic guns to even em out. I enjoy futuristic games but i just prefer ones set around now

The Prey multiplayer is pretty mad and fast paced. Plays a bit like UT

Yes i did say that, cs use to be one of the best games i had ever played, when it played right no other game come close to the feeling. The way the guns feel and the recoil it all use to be spot on. Please note the "use to be"
