New, Tiny PS2  by Craig D at 11:01

Sony Playstation 2 Sony has finally launched it's smaller PS2 console, it should be available at the beginning of November if you're interested in aquiring one.

It is apparantly about a quarter of the size and half the weight.

think i saw mention of this a few days ago, this the one they might call PStwo? looks quite neat, not that i actually want a ps2 tho

I find the "consoles suck" responses from some gSers, absolutely bizarre. I'm not quite sure if Jimbo is actually saying that in this feedback, so I'll assume he isn't. But in general I've noticed that most PC gamers are really against consoles. Why?

Seriously though, consoles always had the reputation of being for children, in my mind at least. They are always behind PC's, which isn't a suprise considering the cost differential.

And most importantly, we mostly like RTS/FPS games, and for these games console controllers are just awful!! Give me a mouse / keyboard anyday.

Consoles = cool for Footy + Beer with a m8

PC = better the rest of the time.

I dont think they suck at all, but for me personally I dont see any reason to own one.

Console = sp/mp(not online)
PC = SP/MP(online)

just my opinion anyways, console just just work online for me.

Well my main reason is simply not wanting to waste money, I have a perfectly good PC that can run similar games to consoles.. sure you miss out on a few classics but not the end of the world. The only place they are really useful is when you live in a shared house or you have mates over and just want to sit around the tv with a few beers.

Consoles are ok in some respects " mp with some mates n beers "

but PC's win hands down mainly because gameplay is easier and faster than on consoles and also PC's are more customisable and more virsital
" i dont see many people using X-Box's and PS2's for coursework and stuff "

but still consoles are good for "mp +beer + freinds"
