Sonic the Hedgehog is back and on the Xbox 360. The Official Xbox Magazine has a preview up. No release date for this one yet.

Well, Sonic and new character Silver The Hedgehog. The two of them play through separate levels that unfold the different sides of one single story, with players swapping between dreamy Sonic levels and chaotic Silver missions as the game progresses.

Silver's not just any old hedgehog either, he's a hedgehog from the future. Hence the silver suit and spangly trainers. The hedgehog of the future has undergone something of an evolutionary leap, and now comes with telekinetic powers. Silver is a master of magnetism, able to manipulate the scenery and enemies with his mind, conveniently adding a layer of action to the speed play.
