Rumorers of an update to allow background downloads have circulated for a while now. Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb has confirmed in his blog that the update is finally due in about a weeks time. The update will include the promised background downloading, Marketplace updates and an option to boot to dash (rather than auto-launching the game in the drive).
