TeamXbox have written up their experiences with Virtua Tennis 3 while at E3. So how does one of the most loved tennis games shape up in its third iteration?

Those that remember the original game in the Virtua Tennis series are probably familiar with its arcade play style and it looks like the third iteration will follow on that same path. The build that we saw at this year's E3 was said to be only 20 percent complete which undoubtedly attributes to the rough look and feel of the game. That being said the game's visuals were already being built to compete against the mediocre looking Top Spin 2. The player models featured realistic lighting and shadows on their body which helped sell the look of realism in close ups. Sadly, like most other sports titles that we've seen, once the camera pulled back away from the action things didn't look quite as nice.
