Star Trek fans will no doubt have been pretty happy over the last few months since Bethesda announced Star Trek Legacy for PC and Xbox 360, details have been scant, until E3 of course. The space simulation claims to be the most comprehensive Star Trek game ever made, which can only be a good thing! The Inquirer has a detailed report of the game from E3, and there are also some screenshots over at IGN.

Then there are the ships. Like I said, it takes into account all five eras of Trek, all the movies and a bunch of 'other' content. Bethesda claims that the game has almost every ship that has a name, but they may have missed a minor one here and there. Want to fly the Romulan Class IV garbage skow with extended wings mentioned by the guy in the background of the bar in episode 17? Ain't gonna happen, but the rest of it probably will. The guy who created the game models is one of the top modelers for the show itself, so you know it will be authentic and look pretty good.
