Call of Duty 3 Console Only?  by James W at 09:14

It seems the Activision CEO has revealed the next Call of Duty game will be next-gen console only title. An article over at GameSpot does however mention the game is likely to be a Call of Duty spin-off and not developed by Infinity Ward.

Just as I thought, IW are not bothered with us PC gamers anymore. I know they are not developing it but there is just no support from them anymore.

Money isnt in PC gaming anymore. Look at a console, its a user friendly media/entertainment system...easy choice really.

I hate to say it as i am a avid pc gamer but i think if we aint carefull its going to go the way of the dodo. Poor performance and cheaper consoles plus companies like EA not giving their titles a chance i think all add up.

Nah, it won't, there's still a lot of money in PC gaming, thing is PC gamers are a lot harder to please and the platform itself is more difficult to write for as there's no fixed spec.
