Microsoft today announced that the African Adventure expansion pack for Zoo Tycoon 2 has gone gold and will hit retail shelves by June 2nd. More information is available at the official site.

With this new, 3+ rated expansion pack from Blue Fang Games, children and parents alike will broaden their knowledge of the African animal kingdom while improving their zoo keeping skills. Gamers will choose from an abundance of new content, including 20 new African animals from eight different biomes, ranging from the striped hyena roaming the desert landscape to the wildebeest roving the savannah.
