Valve to Develop for the Xbox 360  by Craig D at 22:26

Valve Software today announced that it was developing titles, so at least two, for Microsoft's Xbox 360 console.

"The combination of Source and the 360 provides game designers the chance to create powerful entertainment experiences," said Gabe Newell, president and co-founder of Valve. "Whether developing a traditional FPS, RTS, RPG or delving into new genres, the Xbox 360 is a great platform for expanding Source and our game experiences."

Interesting, anyone want to guess what these titles might be? We can no doubt expect some more news at E3.

i can see the future now, CS:S pc and CS:S 360, then a patch to let 360 owners play on PC servers. I think i'll leave that image in your head.

They did that with Quake 3 on the Dreamcast letting you play against pc users. The PC users just used to run around them using the gauntlet as the console users couldn't turn fast enough - I was one of the PC users

im inclined to say you could, i definately remember a hacked dreamcast map pack, and PC gamers who used it could get on DC servers and run riot, then an official one was released

I remember killing alot of people who got the mouse and keyboard for the dreamcast. They were all gobsmacked when I told them I was using a controller. Don't mean to sound big headed BUT I ****ING OWN CONSOLE FPS'S!!!!!!
