Ubisoft today announced that they have reached agreement with Bethseda to publish Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow in PAL territories this coming July on both PC and PS2.

"Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow brings an exotic blend of action and adventure that captures the colorful characters and spirit of the first movie," said Alain Corre, Executive Director at Ubisoft, EMEA territories.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow is a fast paced action-adventure game featuring a humorous retelling of events from the first movie told from the perspective of Captain Jack Sparrow himself. The player will make headway by using his sword, solving puzzles, and taking advantage of the environment.

Hmm, movie games, I'm not expecting a classic.
