Here's four new shots of the Valve shooter formerely known a Half-Life 2: Aftermath, Half-Life 2: Episode 1, it's due at the end of May on Steam an a couple of days later as boxed copies published by EA.

nowhere near best fps for me. Found it a real effort to finish, bland and lifeless.

i enjoyed half-life 2, but according to gabe newell, they feel that gamers don't like playing games all the way through because they're too long.

i don't think that's true. i play any fps the entire way through because i ENJOY the game.

personally, i think this is just an extra way for valve to make money, since little work is required in creating these 4-5 hour "episodes", and they can sell them at 20 bucks a pop (american).

although i really enjoyed hl2, i can't see myself running to purchase these episodes from steam anytime soon.
