C&VG have a hands on preview on Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War.

Dotted around each map are various Strategic Points and more of these you control, the higher your Requisition rate. Rather than overrun the map with a herd of tanks, Strategic Points have to be captured first with infantry and if the enemy are harassing you, you will need some support otherwise your units will be cut down before they've managed to raise the flag.

Certainly looks like it will be worth a look.
