Egosoft have released and an updated version of the X3 playable demo now available as well as a hotifx patch for the previous version. The fix corrects a 'File Not Found' error when runnign the demo for a second time.

This game is definitely worth a try if you have a PC that can run it well, despite the demo being a 907mb download, ouch. Fortunately if you've already download the demo, the hotfix is only tiny at 471kb.
