I'm very curious to see how my XP2500-M clocked at 2.5 gig would keep up with these 64bit chips. Also not much of a benchmark test if they are only using the one chip manufacturer.

You would expect that form an AMD fan site, but still, the top of the line P4's are no match for the top of the line Athlon64's in games, no match at all.

So how does the performance of say my chip conpare with a 64 running at a slightly slower clock speed?

The main thing is that A64's have the integrated memory controller and therefore have very little memroy latency, this has dramatic effects on game performance.

I would expect most A64's to still be faster that yours
