GameDaily has released an interesting article which informs us that PC Gaming isn't dying, it's actually on the rise! A new report from Forrester Research states that not only is the current PC market healthy but it's expected to rise in the next few years and it dominates the online gaming market.

I hope this puts an end to those stupid articles that I keep seeing claming that PC gaming is coming to and end and in years to come we'll all just be useing consoles to play games. I think it's thanks to games like WOW and such that we'll be seeing a big increase in PC gaming. What games do you think have helped pick it up?

As much as it pains me, it's MMO's, that's why we're seeing so many of the friggin things coming out.

We've seen an increase in the amount of ones that are free also, which is good because I refuse to pay 15 a month for a game

no games are 15 a month, it's $15 not £15 so it works out about £7.99.

a good FPS MMO is planetside by far. Shame you won't give WOW a try though, i'm sure you'd like the gameplay in it.

Yeah I'm not starting with WOW paying monthly to play something that I won't have time to be playing a lot anyway.

Planetside looked quite good, I've never really tried any MMORPG's though, only Guildwars which was cool, but simular to dungeon siege.
