As is becoming the custom with Quake 4 patches, a beta version of the next patch has been released, to be honest I think I quite like the idea, it let's iD/Raven have the largest number of beta testers possible and it let's players get an early look at upcoming changes. Maybe this strategy would help avoid the current issues Battlefield 2 appears to be suffering?
