ParaWorld Delay  by Craig D at 14:32

PC
Sunflowers have announced that SEK's upcoming Dino-Fantasy RTS title ParaWorld will now not launch until the end of August, giving SEK and extra six months to tweak, balance and test. Is this an example of a publisher and developer that wish to release a finished game for a change?

The period until the release date will be devoted exclusively to quality assurance processes, e.g. Gameplay Balancing and an intensive, large-scale Multiplayer Test. The title, developed by the Berlin game studio SEK, will be released for PC only. During the entire development phase of the project, the inherent demands regarding the highest possible gaming quality were ensured by ongoing QA processes. SUNFLOWERS and the Studio employ 30 staff for this task alone. Each point of criticism was analysed and discussed, and the outcome was directly implemented in the game.

Check out our ParaWorld gallery if you need a reminder.

Always better to release a quality product than rush it imo
