all the 1800's support ps3.0 so i would assume the 1900 does also.

hmm i read some where that the new ati cards didnt support pixel shading 3 like nvidia as they was going another route, maybe i read wrong or cant remember. it might not even have been pixel shading 3 but i think it was something to do with that or hdr.

That was mentioned in the elitebastards article Stan, with PS3 ATI deviated from the DirectX specs slightly which ment one of the tests in 3dmark06 didnt work. I shouldnt worry about it though, games designers would be well aware and just do the same thing a different way for ati cards.

I still have no issues with the performance of my GF card but it will be interesting to see what the game designers make of the different approaches ATI & nVidia have taken on the latest GPU's , there could be a major difference in performance now on the suckers ... shaders of pipes which yield the best performance on the major game engines ? One thing is for sure & that is that ATI do give a lot of card for the buck.
