DVD Format Enough For The Xbox 360?  by James W at 13:53

XBox
An article over at GamesFirst looks at DVD9 format and discusses whether it was the right choice by Microsoft. HD-DVD and Blu-Ray clearly hold a lot more data but will the games require that much space?

Undoubtedly, games will grow. However, technology designed to keep them small and compact will grow as well. In many ways, the debate over Microsoft's handling of the DVD9 and HDDVD formats is simply a matter of a red herring. People see it and worry about it, but there is little data to suggest there will actually be a problem with it.

I don't see what the hell everyone is worring about. If the game is big, they'll put it onto more then 1 disk :/

I agree Ralinn but if it became common to require a second disk then that would be quite annoying.. you just want to bung the disk in then sit back in your sofa.. not get up and down changing the cd, its not like on PC's where you are usually sat by the machine.
