Battlefield 2 Community Update  by Craig D at 23:12

Battlefield 2 Logo A new BF2 community update has been released with more information about the upcoming version 1.2 patch which is apparently in public beta testing and is due very soon. There's also some info regarding the new booster packs as discussed earlier.

This month's BF2 newsletter also has some extra information about the new European Army coming in the Euro Force booster pack along with news that it will only be available by using the EA downloader, that was sort of obvious anyway really.

* Attack Heli – Eurocopter Tiger (Tiger HAP)

* Benelli M4

* L96A1

Good to see some UK/European Armour and Airpower. Be interested to see/fly them The Eurofighter is very manuverable.

Grenade launcher projectiles now have a minimum time before arming

Weee, no more quickly changing to the grenade launcher and shooting somone 2 foot infront of you.. gotta at least shoot someone at range by the sounds of it... much much better.

yeah, i mean how often do they plan on releasing these boosters? SF has only been out a few months.

2 boosters replaced 1 mission pack as far as I know, so, about 12 quid instead of 18.

I imagine they'll bring one out every 3 or so months if peopel like the idea, it keeps the game fresh imho, hopefully lot's of the kiddie retards won't be able to use Daddies credit card and won't get them. The rest of us can go back to having fun then.
