When I told THQ that EA was coming out with Battlefield 2: Modern Combat around March (The Outfit is due in mid-March), they quickly pointed out a few good points. First, The Outfit plays differently than Battlefield, and second, people want new and different experiences on their new systems. I happily agreed with the second point. This is why I'm glad THQ delayed it and that Relic has had more time to hone its unique combat styles and polish the game into something as unusual and intense as Battlefield was the first time we played it in 2002.
