Dead or Alive meets Halo  by James W at 13:09

XBox
For many people Dead of Alive is one of the must have games for the Xbox 360. It unfortunatly slipped from a December to January release but until then there is a story about how Spartan 468, the Halo inspired character made it into the game.

They use fundamentally different systems from us, so some our 3D models had to be converted once they got to Tokyo, and naturally, the animation for fighting simply didn't exist. We had to describe how we felt a Spartan would fight – the weight of the armor, the kind of close-quarters, brutal martial arts that a future military might use.

In that last regard, Team Ninja was on exactly the same page. When we got back approval materials (early, playable versions of the game, in varying stages of completion), they had almost nailed it exactly, first time. When Nicole fights, you believe it. Punches are quick and brutal. Kicks are telegraphed, and pack incredible force.

me and a freind were debating about this a while back because A Spartan would easily kill any human in one blow.. not to mention the fact that the spartans are faster, and have a sheild and body armour...

personally i think this is crap because the Dead or Alive games have always been very good and pay attention to detail.. but you just know they've ignored the spartans speed and power so they can make the character work with the other game characters, which imo is piss poor attention to detail.
