Decembers ATI Catalyst Drivers Appear  by Craig D at 22:30

Ok, so this months release of Ati's catalyst drivers is now available, version is 5.12 of course. Just in case anyone doesn't already know, the major version number is the year, and the minor is the month. So what will January's be called? 6.01 of course!

There will also be a catalyst 5.13 released this month in time for christmas! Aaahhh!

you sure?

i know the benchmarks for the 5.12 drivers showed a slight drop in single core performance... 5.13 gonna fix that for single core users?

There won't be a 5.13, due to the fact there is no 13th month.

5 = 2005.
12 = December.

Just like 4.9 would be September 2004.

Ah but 5.13 is apparently a crimbo present,a special one off, we shall see anyway
