Doom 3 Mini League  by Scott H at 15:01

Take your partners by the hand!

Only a couple of weeks until Doom 3 arrives.

gameSlave will be running a small 2 vs 2 League to welcome the game into our community.

The league format will be simple, 6 teams of 2 players, more formal rules will follow shortly, but in the spirit of gameSlave this is meant to be a bit of fun and one would hope it will be.

The League will commence 1 Week after the game reaches the UK shelves, and more info will follow near the time.

If you have pre-ordered Doom3 and would be interested in this little event, please post your comments with a contact address, and we will get back to you.

We have at least 1 ex Doom champion on the gameSlave crew, and it isn't me, as you can probably guess. There may be life in the old goat yet!

Perhaps the best FPS ever, in my opinion was Doom2, I spent a couple of years playing in a British Doom League and won it twice while playing unde the name 'Flash', cheesey huh?

Mentioned it to a few friends and they sounded interested, maybe we should move this to a forum thread so we can keep track of how many people are interested. No rush till the the release date is closer though.
