Halo to be HD on Xbox360  by Craig D at 11:59

XBox
The Inquirer has a story about Halo and Halo 2 in the Xbox 360, apparently it will run in HD at 720p with AA activated, and all with yoiur current copy of the game. It's not clear whether a hard disk is required to store any patches from Bungie or not.

current TV is 640*480 (widescreen is obviously a bit wider than that)

HD is simply higher resolutions, 720p being the lowest of the new HD resolutions.

Not only do they want you to fork out for their new console, they also want you to buy a HD Tv in order to enjoy it fully! When will it end?

actually no craig, 720i is the lowest as 720p means progressive scan. the 720 is how many lines are on the screen, the i stands for interlaced and the p for progressive, you can allso get 1080i and 1080p. Its bascially like upping the resolution on pc games.

All very good but its an FPS on a console, 'nuff said.
