VIA and S3 are set to host the first Quake 4 Tournament in Sweden next month. There is a prize pool of $6000 USD up for grabs. It looks like this will be the first big test of the multiplayer side of Quake 4, a game which this time round seems to be primarily a single player title with a multiplayer element. I expect this event will make it clear whether Quake 4 will live up to past Quake titles.
