It seems BT Yahoo have followed in the footsteps of NTL by introducing a download limit on their service. Although this won't be active until 2005 it's not going to please the majority of gamers out there. Here's what they had to say :
To enable us to offer our best possible price to customers from now on we will be introducing a usage allowance on the amount of data that can be transferred each month.
These usage allowances will only be applied from early 2005.

BT Yahoo! Broadband 500kbps 15GB

I really don't think this will do them any favours. The more internet literate amoungst already rate BT as a poor ISP. With the choices out there growing they are looking far less favourable. Especially with the likes of Blueyonder offering very competitive prices for 750k, 1.5Mbit and 3Mb lines.
