Direct X 9.0c  by Craig D at 02:04

Microsoft Saw over on [H]ardOCP that Microsoft has released the latest version of direct X, 9.0c.

Those of you who are brave can grab the 35mb download here.

If anyone installs it, please let us know what the results are.

Just to point out the obvious, dont bother updating unless you have the latest hardware and play games like farcry that can make use of new gfx card technologies. Its not like a gfx card driver update that'll just give you fps from thin air. You'll only gain if there is untaped features in your new gfx card that games cant access via the old dx.

Ive read nothing about the release of 9.0c but I would expect this to be the case.

Unlikely, dx updates usually address new features like PS2.0b and PS3 for the ATIx800 and Nv 6800 respectively.

I mean it shouldnt do any harm, just dont expect anything to change afterwards

Doubt it malis, though does come with SP2 which is due in a few weeks or something.
