Gamechronicles has a great question & answer session online today talking to Vince Zampella of Infinity Ward and the upcomming game Call of Duty 2.

Mainly they discuss the games single player campaign and how the gameplay has altered from the original, Call of Duty 2 will have a lot to live up to as the original was voted game of the year in 2003.

It's not so much that anything was missing from the first one; we just wanted to take it up a notch. Taking the squad AI over to the enemy, making more non-linear objectives and levels and adjusting the AI for that. Battle chatter, portable concealment, smoke grenades and stuff.

Call of Duty 2 is due for release in just over 2 weeks.
