PC
Since Doom 3 has had a confirmed release date loads of information has shot to the surface.

Official Doom 3 site

Has now gone live and it actually lets you enter it now instead of just seeing the "coming soon" heading. Site is here Doom 3

Doom 3 book

Homelanfed site has conducted an interview with the author of the official book which also can be found at this location

Doom 3 multiplayer

Gamespy has some information available on what will be in the MP side of Doom 3..

Looking for more clarity, we turned to id Software programmer Robert Duffy, who was kind enough to provide us with a few quick answers, confirming that DOOM 3's multiplayer is no longer based on a peer-to-peer model, and while it's still designed around 4 players, that's by no means the limit to what mod developers can do with it.

Will this game look so amazing at 800x600? Just throwing caution into a less skeptical wind.
