Some what suprisingly, DICE have announced that shorly after the upcoming release of the Battle Vietnam 1.1 patch, they will be releasing a World War 2 mod, it will include 3 maps, Wake Island, Invasion of the Philippines and Iwo Jima, all the engine additions from BF:V and a new flamethrower weapon.

It's a petty they left the vehicle music in, most annoying feature in an FPS game ever. Bar none.
