Call of Duty 2 has been given the once over by one of Shacknews regular columnist Maarten Goldstein. Again yet another game I want (I want too much according to my wife).

In one of the first missions I played I found myself in Stalingrad, playing as one of the Russians. The objective in this level was to restore telephone wire to allow for communication. Of course, you can't accomplish this task without taking out copious amounts of Germans.

While on the subject of CoD2 there is a rather large trailer available for download over at Worthplaying, weighing in at 250mb for the 360 format which is not too bad considering, anyway it's looking so good for games on the horizon is all I can say.
