Microsoft have today announced the Xbox 360 pricing structure for their online gaming service, Xbox live, you will no longer need a credit card to create an account and of course all owner of an Xbox 360 will get a silver account free of charge. A memory card or hard drive is required.

Gold level pricing is as follows;

1 Month - Price: £4.99
3 Month - Price: £14.99
12 Month - Price: £39.99

Payment may be made via credit card in the Xbox 360 dashboard and also at participating retailers via cash or other payment methods.

Pricing seems pretty resonable, the 12 month option looks the best deal though.

It is, roughly 3 quid a month.
