NTL Ups Bandwidth Speeds Again  by James W at 08:54

PC
For some time now the leading broadband providers have been battling it out for pole position. I was suprised this morning to read NTL has pushed this one step further and said its upping all customers to 10Mbits! NTL expect the higher speeds to be rolled out to 3Mbps customers by the end of this year. The rest will get upgraded next year.

Subscribers will get a standard minimum 10Mbps connection speed, without paying extra. NTL said it was a "major step" for the UK's digital future."

The higher speeds pave the way for the online delivery of much better quality video and TV.

Nope, NTL refinanced or something, I'm pretty sure they will merge before too long though.

I've had NTL 2MB for a while now. Bring on 10MB.
