The chaps over at Gamespy have reported that the reasons for the cancellation are due to the fact the team would like to concentrate on Ultima Online and future projects.

A spokesperson said the game was cancelled so Electronic Arts could focus its resources on the existing game, including a new (and as yet unannounced) expansion pack that will be officially revealed later this month at an EA press event, and another unannounced UO project.

	Seems to me EA cancel anything that doesn't get finished quickly. Their moto appears to be quanitity over quality.

	Another side effect of EA relocating a lot of its teams to its new office complex in California. Quite a number of its various employees just didnt want to go, leaving development of a number of titles up the spout.
