Seems Multiplay will be holding a nice little cash prized BF2 tournament at the upcoming i25 lan event. Well worth checking out if you're planning on going to i25 anyway.

Multiplay announced today the flagship tournament for their coming LAN Party, i25. The Battlefield 2 Tournament will see a top prize of £1000 and invites for the winning team back to i26 to defend their title as UK LAN Champions.

As well as the £1000 top prize, subsequent prizes of £500 and £250 are up for grabs for second and third place respectively.

The tournament is to be held at Multiplay's i25 LAN Party, which can accommodate 1000 gamers for over 80 hours of high-octane gaming, due to take place over the August Bank Holiday Weekend (26th – 29th August 2005) at Newbury Racecourse, Berkshire, UK, close to the M4/A34.
