Win a F.E.A.R. Beta Key  by Craig D at 09:56

A brand new F.E.A.R. flash website has launched today, if your'e not the nervous or easily scared type, and your'e over 18 of course, you should visit and have to chance to win one of 1200 Beta keys.

I'm already there myself, so if you want a key, you'd better get a move on hadn't you.

I had a spin on the multiplayer demo & it was demanding . I think I will sit out the Beta's & wait till the finished product comes out .
As a note to you all when I ran the MP demo on my back/up PC & I was forced to run it on medium / low settings & that was on an Athlon XP 3200 with 1Gig Ram & an nVidia 6800NU with 16 pipes / 6 vertex shader ...
The minimum system spec is :
Windows ® 2000/XP with latest service pack installed
* Pentium ® 4 1.7 Ghz or equivalent
* 1GB RAM
* 128 MB DirectX ® 9.0 Compliant Video Card with hardware T&L and pixel shader support*
* 16-bit DirectX 9.0 compliant sound card with support for EAX 2.0

Please remember that this is the minimum system requirements and not recommended spec .

It's beocming more common to deman pixel shader support. For most this is a good thing, as games will look much better.
