PSP - Battlefield 2 going portable by Neil W at 15:03
Digital Illusions has licensed the rights to produce Battlefield 2:Modern Combat for the PSP, to EA's Great Britain studio. The portable version will be released in the first quarter of 2006 - supposedly alongside a version for the Xbox 360.The PS2 and Xbox versions will be released later this year.
Digital Illusions decided to outsource the game due to a lack of resources, and to cut costs.The company will be paid royalties for the first edition of Battlefield 2 on the PSP, as it owns the brand name.
