XBOX 2
More information is beginning to surface on the XBOX 2 "XENON" specs.
Following the apparent leak in April of early specs for Xbox 2, further stats have leaked out and appear to confirm the sheer power that Microsoft's forthcoming console will house.
Three 3.5Ghz PowerPC G5 CPU cores, built on to one silicon die 500Mhz ATI graphics unit with a 10MB on-board framebuffer 256Mb of main RAM shared between the graphics unit and CPU system The ATI graphics unit will be able to read straight from the level 2 cache on the CPU cores, thus allowing for a 1MB shared 'scratch pad' which can be accessed from all three CPU cores and the GPU, which itself will include a number of unique and powerful extensions to the pixel and vertex shader systems in DirectX 9.0 A 100MB network socket (this compares to just 10MB for Xbox) plus USB 2 sockets for connecting peripherals Four controller ports

Ghost Recon 2
North Korea seem to be getting into a huff over the story line for Ghost Recon 2, in the game, North Korea has invaded China, and it is the player's job to repel the invading North Korean forces. However, the North Korean did not respond to the game very politely. A government-controlled newspaper in North Korea released a statement in response to the game, saying..
Americans have shown everyone their hatred for us. This may be just a game to them now, but a war will not be a game for them later. In war, they will only face miserable defeat and gruesome deaths.

The e-mail wars have heated up as Microsoft announced a massive increase in storage capacity for its free Hotmail customers, countering Yahoo as the two rivals look to head off a challenge from Google.
Microsoft said it would offer its free MSN Hotmail customers in "multiple markets" 250 megabytes of storage, up from 2.5 megabytes. That is more than double the 100 megabytes offered for free by Yahoo, which recently boosted its capacity.
