S.T.A.L.K.E.R Delayed?  by Shane L at 16:46

PC
According to Oblivion-Lost.com S.T.A.L.K.E.R is a no go this year. The news comes from an alleged IRC chat with the game's deputy director Anton Bolshakov.

If you are fluent in Russian you can find the chat session here.

"In two words, to sum up an ICQ chat: when the plot is fully implemented (it is being completed), the simulation will be finally tuned. This is what the team is doing right now.The game will certainly not come out this year.Look for the beginning of the wide advertising campaign, as it will mean half a year until the release."

Bugger, I was looking forward to this one for Christmas.

Delays aren't so good when you pass the original release date by like.. a year.. or two hehe.
But I agree, all the more to improve the game.. if it ever makes it out. But gawd dern, it will want to be the most kickass game ever made by then...

Sounds like this game is on a collision course for dated graphics syndrome , lets hope they keep a bead on any enhancements of the HL2 engine ( HDR cough cough )
