Evening News  by James W at 18:29

Quite a few bits and bobs to mention this evening, Bluesnews brings news of an addon for the popular shooter, PainKiller. For more info click here.

Shacknews has highlighted two articles giving Star Wars Battlefront impressions. The articles are from Worthplaying and SWBattlefront.net

IE flaws continue according to cnet news.com. This particular exploit sounds serious so I would recommend IE uses head over here for the report in full. There is another article wired news.

GamesDomain have a Q&A session with Mark Kern about World of Warcraft.
GD: Which area of the gameworld are you most pleased with? Which needs the most work?

MK: I'd have to say that I'm really happy with the way the world feels alive and full of things to do. Our quest system is very prevalent throughout our game and really drives players forward into exploring new lands and features. Our zones are also very richly populated with characters, little creatures, camps, and other things which help ground the monsters and encounters of our game. It makes it feel as if these creatures have been here all along, and that they belong and have purpose in the world. Still, screenshots don't do the game justice. You really have to stroll through the world to appreciate how it feels.

There is a Colin Mcrae 2005 video available, most probably in response to the upcoming competition in Richard Burns Rally. You can grab it from the offical site here, it shows various ingame footage and highlights the new weather effects. As a big fan of CMR4 I cant say I'm all that excited yet, the graphics were already very good in CMR4 and the next version only seems to bring some improved weapon to the table. I look forward to see what Richard Burns Rally can offer as the new boy on the scene.

There is a new video of Lord of The Rings: Battle For Middle-Earth, the last video looked quite promising. You can download it from WorthPlaying.
