Steam news this morning and there is a report on the Lost Coast map for Half-Life 2 featuring High Dynamic Range (HDR) lighting.There is also a nice little video aswell done in split screen mode which shows the left-hand side of the screen is running in non-HDR mode, and the right-hand side with High Dynamic Range.

Once Lost Coast is released, we will include HDR in our future product releases. For instance, Day of Defeat: Source will feature HDR lighting for all of its levels the day it is released.
