Soundblaster.com has an interview with Jonas Kjellström and Henrik Andersson of DiCE about he games sound system.

As you might have guessed the interview has a decidedly Creative slant, in particular there's some discussion about Creative's X-Fi technology, which I beleive should be available on Audigy 2 cards with an OpenAL driver update soon.
