XBox 360 Is Officailly Called 360  by Shane L at 09:44

The next generation console from Microsoft was unvieled last night to viewers across America, as thought it will be called the 360 and is white and will be in shops in time for christmas.

Some of the specs for the console are very impressive with the CPU with three IBM PowerPC 3.2Ghz cores, ATI 500MHz graphics processor and 512Mb GDDR3 RAM of memory it also has support for DVD-video, DVD-ROM, DVD-R, DVD+R, CD-DA, CD-R, WMA CD, MP3 CD, Jpeg photo CD.

I think now would be a good time for all fathers to start saving as I know I will..err the kids will be wanting one, to watch the full 30 minute MTV special for UK viewers its on tonight at 20:00.

looking at the 160 quid bracket rumour has it, which aint too bad.

I can still remember going into town the day ps1 was launched and he bought it with a really funny game called destruction derby i think, anyway the price he paid back then was 399.99 nasty.

Where is it rumoured to be 160!?? thats incredibly cheap, although I guess thats the cheaper version without the hd ?

its in the link jim What is not known is if gamers will be able to play current Xbox games on the 360. The price of the console has yet to be announced but some speculate it could go on sale in the US for $300 (£162).

Aah, so its only 160 if you import.. so its probably going to be around £300 if its $300 in the US.

really annoys me the whole "lets mark up for the brits" thing, why does $300 equate to £300 ?
