Battlefield 2 demo  by Craig D at 01:02

PC
Battlefield 2 Logo The Word at PlanetBattlefield is that DiCE will release a single map demo for Battlefield 2 towards the middle of June, I'm not too suprised as DiCE did release a single map demo of Battlefield 1942 shortly before it's full release. May I just add my personal and somewhat bitter comment aimed at developers, please follow this example and get a demo out before general release.

The demo could be just 5 weeks or so away.

The demo release for Battlefield 2 will be in Mid-June it will feature one map. This was said from the executive producers Scott Evans during community day at EARS. So look forward in June for the demo. While I write this newspost I am currently alt-tabbed out of Battlefield 2 game, and all I can say in short words is Game of the year. So look forward for a report sometime this week. Bye for now from EARS.

**Note: Official Release Date for Battlefield 2: June 23, 2005 (Ship Date: June 22). This date will be earlier for Europeans, it's estimated it will be June 17, 2005.

In the region of 6 week then to the projected release date, I can't wait.

why oh why release demo's when the game is on general sale..oh i know why because the demo will show you how wank the game is and you wont buy it.

In all fairness though from the footage i have seen this game does look good and personally i cant wait.

I do think this game looks awesome, but i will remind myself to have a thought of doubt before buying. I did buy BFV and oh my dear lord, i wanted to shoot myself after buying that. I hope that it won't rely too heavily on vehicles because it is quite annoying when some pleb just arses about trying to shoot you you in his little tank, then while your trying to dodge him some one else shoots you. C4 packs to place on tanks would be a nifty idea actually. Are they in it?
