Seems some Internet Explorer programmers have been allowed to Blog about IE7's development a little. It seem we can expect the first beta sometime in the summer and we should get fully working PNG support as well as much improved CSS support to many but a few things.Being a web developer myself, I can appreciate the importance of full PNG image support, alpha blending really does add a lot more possibilities for a designer, several years overdue I might add. Fully working and standards compliant CSS will also make my life a whole lot easier. Tabbed browsing too is pretty much a given, frankly tabs are awesome for anyone who uses the web seriously. Of course Opera, Firefox and Safari have all support these features for a long, long time. At least Microsoft are finally going to catch up, nothing like a bit of competition is there.
Thanks Slashdot.
