Call of Duty 2 Previews  by Craig D at 14:02

PCXBox
Call of Duty 2 Another Call of Duty 2 preview today, gamespy this time. Strangely, the C&VG article from last week disappeared from their site which was odd. Perhaps there was an online embargo and Gamespy were supposed to be 1st? Who knows.

Here, the developers were excited to talk about the new "battle chatter" system, for which about 20,000 lines of speech were recorded to bring the battles to life. "We talked with military advisors, and one of the things they said was, 'Once the first shot's fired, there's no secrecy, so the battlefield just comes alive,'" explains Zampella. "eople talk, they say 'I'm reloading, cover me, get down.'" Sure enough, once the shooting started, there were characters yelling everywhere, making you feel like a part of a larger battle.

Interesting stuff, you can see the screenshots in our gallery if you so desire.

I like the way the game looks a lot like the original with you entering a town in a squadron, also to be able to complete a level via different routes is good aswell.

Not to sure on this level skip idea if your stuck tho.

its not skip, its changing campaigns, u cant skip a level on the same country... But yeah i like the looks of it, and they dont seem to want to go to a battlefield style with vehicles and stuff, which is good (Still hasnt bought UO )
